The Trust raises and disburses funds. We are very grateful to the organisations and individuals who have supported us from 2001. Over several years Dorset County Council, commercial organisations such as Scottish and Southern Electric (SSE), BAE Systems, Battens Solicitors and Charles Russell LLP, Edwards and Keeping and charitable Trusts, including the Valentine Trust and Cooper Dean Foundation have generously provided significant financial or practical support. Special mention of Palmers Brewery of Bridport is also merited. Inspired by the 2012 Games, Palmers have given a small proportion of the proceeds from the sale of every bottle of their Dorset Gold ale to the Trust. Over £30,000 has been given by Palmers to the Trust.
